Our design staff will be happy to assist in revising our offered house plans to meet your needs. The cost will depend entirely on resources required to make the your specific modifications. House plans are a combination of architectural and interior design concepts and structural planning. Some modifications such as the reconfiguration of a stairway may impact much more than just the stairway. If you would like to modify or redesign one of our plans here are the steps required to make that happen.
- Select a plan.
- Contact Blondino Design, Inc., to arrange a preliminary design consultation.
- Our staff will assess the cost of revisions, or discuss the process of redesigning the portion(s) of the house under consideration.
- If you decide to proceed, you will be required to purchase the plan set type most suited for your needs.
- Blondino Design, Inc., will provide you with a single-use agreement and a 11”x17” preview and mark-up set of floor plans and elevations. You may use these sheets as a mark-up tool, or meet with the designers in order to complete the plans.
- Upon completion the remaining cost of revisions, as quoted, will be charged to your credit card and your new house plans will be sent to you.
You are permitted within the scope of your single-use agreement to have another design professional or architect make revisions. This is allowed with the understanding that the plans you design, whether modified or not, cannot be duplicated or sold and the original version of the house plans and the revised version of the house plans remain the property of Blondino Design, Inc. and are protected by copyright law. We are not responsible for errors or structural conflicts created by outside design professionals. You are responsible to have all documents reviewed by a licensed structural engineer prior to permitting and construction.
